How to do a crab reach? — Get Stronger Together

Here are the steps I try to keep in mind:

  • Sit on the mat in crab position
  • Place one hand behind you
  • The other hand in front of you
  • Open hips
  • Then belly
  • Then chest
  • Then shoulders
  • Reach back, like cutting your head in half
  • Keep your eyes on your hand
  • Return to starting position
  • Switch hands
  • If possible keep your butt hovering over the ground when switching hands
